Mexi Cocina Mobile Kitchen is serving up some of the best Mexican food in the Lake City Area! Chef Santos is always cooking up some amazing Mexican combinations in familiar delivery methods.

Santos grew up learning to cook from his mom inspired by her Mexican roots, combined with the new flavors she discovered in California. It’s now Santos turn to put his unique modern spin on these classic tacos, burritos and more!

Chef Santos sources locally grown ingredients and works to make his food the freshest in town. This is definitely not fast food tacos. Each taco and burrito is cooked fresh while you wait. Ensuring his customers get the highest quality Mexican food around Lake City.

We caught up with Chef Santos in the parking lot of First Street Music and Sound Company on 950 SW Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida. It was a cool Tuesday evening; the perfect kind of day for a taco. Who are we kidding? Every day is an ideal day for a taco!

Taco Tuesday means $2 tacos which rank right below free tacos, as some of our favorite kinds of tacos. We would recommend the roasted pineapple pork tacos. While we did try every kind of taco he had which included chicken, ground beef, and pork just to be thorough, in our humble opinion the pineapple pork was our favorite. If you are a fan of hot sauce on your tacos make sure you ask Santos for some of his homemade hot taco sauce; it’s not for the weak of heart.
